For over 17 years the North West Air Ambulance Charity have been providing "care from the air" dispatching professional medical teams to incident scenes or rapid transfer between hospitals using their Air Ambulance Helicopters. They operate three helicopters, flying 365 days a year with doctors and paramedics on board providing emergency medical treatment when time is critical.
The need has never been greater, with ever more specialist medical care being centred in fewer locations. There is an increasing urgency and importance in getting patients over longer distances to the most appropriate places for treatment. This service costs over £7million every year and is funded by the generosity of the public through donations, fundraising activity, lottery membership and through their network of retail outlets.
The role of Fundraising Manager is crucial in delivering the fundraising activity that keeps this life-saving service flying.
This is an amazing opportunity for someone with experience in managing fundraisers.
