It’s an exciting time at North West Cancer Research, with lots of changes and brilliant opportunities. North West Cancer Research (NWCR) are the only independent cancer research charity fighting the toughest cancers in North West England and North Wales.
It’s a fact that one in two of us will be affected by cancer at some point in our lifetime. Approximately 44,000 people a year will be diagnosed with cancer in the North West. The good news is that more people than ever before are surviving cancer - but more still needs to be done.
Who we are looking for
This is a brilliant opportunity if you are you looking to further develop your career in Trust Fundraising. You might want to combine your great writing and research skills with an ability to develop strong and lasting funding relationships with trusts and foundations.
As Trusts Officer, you will have a proven track record in successful bid-writing in a not for profit context. Reporting directly to the Head of Fundraising, you will write powerful and effective applications and influence colleagues to capture key data and inspiring case studies. Above all you will be inspired and motivated to help more people in the North West to survive cancer, living fulfilling lives.
This role offers fabulous annual leave with 25 days plus bank holidays and extra time off for Christmas.
