About the Charity
For the past 25 years, Alder Hey Family House Trust (affectionately known to the families it supports as ‘Mac House’) has provided the parents and siblings of children staying in Alder Hey Children’s Hospital with a home away from home close to their sick child, during an incredibly difficult period. Situated in the grounds of Alder Hey Hospital, Mac House is an entirely independent charity with it owns board of Trustees, strategic direction and loyal following of supporters.
The charity benefits from the fundraising efforts of a strong regular following of families, event participants, and local companies, and has taken the decision to invest in a new Corporate & Community Fundraiser to take Mac House’s fundraising to the next stage of growth.
