About the Charity

Claire House Children’s Hospice provide specialist nursing care and emotional support to help families smile again when life couldn’t get any tougher. Their dream is to one day reach every single child that needs them. To achieve this ambitious target, they have already laid the foundations of a major appeal to fund the significant increase and sustainable development of their core services. When the Hospice first opened in 1998, they supported 10 families. 20 years’ on, they support over 300. In just the past 6 years, they have seen an 84% increase in the number of children they support. To help the Fundraising team reach their targets, support and awareness from the business community is vital. This is an exciting time to be joining one of the most supportive and fastest growing charities in Merseyside.

About the role of Corporate Fundraiser

The role of Corporate Fundraiser requires a confident ‘people person’ to make sure that every business the charity works with - and their enthusiastic teams - get the very best experience from supporting Claire House. You will use your excellent networking skills to maintain existing and develop new relationships with businesses, whilst working closely with colleagues in the Income Generation, care, retail and volunteer teams to ensure every opportunity is optimised to benefit the services offered by Claire House.

Previous fundraising experience is desirable however if you have excellent transferable skills from the commercial sector, we would love to hear from you.
