With 3 helicopters flying 365 days a year, North West Air Ambulance (NWAA) Charity provide "care from the air" when time is critical. They are an organisation that, quite literally, change lives.
NWAA help critically injured patients by reaching, treating, and transferring patients to definitive care as quickly as possible. This includes the help of pilots, paramedics, doctors and working collaboratively with their partners to ensure the best treatment and thus improving the chances of survival and reducing the risk of long term injury.
To keep the service flying, the charity relies on the generosity of the public through donations, fundraising activity, lottery membership and through their network of retail outlets, as well as the support of trusts and corporate partners. This contribution helps NWAA deliver the best pre-hospital care and increase their knowledge in aero-medical expertise through research and development in discovering new treatments and pioneering technologies.
Who we are looking for:
As Corporate Fundraising Officer you will work closely with the Director of Income Generation and Engagement to ensure the delivery and effective development of corporate fundraising at the North West Air Ambulance Charity. You will be skilled in creative and engaging methods of communication to help develop and nurture long term partnerships. You will be a self-starter, ready to hit the ground running by creating new opportunities.
The corporate income stream currently represents c.£310k, but there is still substantial room for growth and for the acquisition of larger partnerships.
This is a fantastic opportunity for the right individual to make an impact and be part of a friendly team (totalling 60 across fundraising, retail, marketing and engagement) sharing the same core values in helping the charity remain the best Helicopter Emergency Medical Service in that region.
