Full Description

St Ann’s Hospice is one of the best known and oldest hospices in the UK. Highly regarded and much loved across Greater Manchester, it believes everyone deserves to have the best quality of life possible.

The Hospice aims to meet the unique physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of those with a life-limiting illness and to help maintain their dignity. It provides specialist palliative care for people with cancer and non-cancer life-limiting illnesses at all stages of their illness. It is not just focused on its patients but recognises that it is also a difficult time for relatives, carers and friends and it provides support for them too. All of its services are free of charge.

As St Ann’s approaches its 50th Anniversary, it has inspiring plans which will enable it to continue to provide the very latest in clinical and holistic care to patients and families.

Due to recent success, the Hospice is growing and is looking for a Fundraising Manager to support and guide the Fundraising Team. It’s an exciting time to join the organisation and, with strong leadership and excellent communication skills, you will motivate the team to achieve its targets.

You will have previous experience of managing a team and at least three years’ fundraising experience across a variety of income streams. Working collaboratively with the communications team, liaising with trading colleagues, building relationships with all Hospice staff and deputising for the Head of Fundraising, you will be at the heart of the Hospice’s fundraising success.

If you would like to join a passionate team and work for a wonderfully supportive organisation, this could be the perfect role for you.

For an information pack, please contact [email protected] as soon as possible to give us time to speak to you before the closing date.

The closing date for all applications is 12 noon, Friday 14th September 2018.

The interview date is Monday 24th September 2018.
