Head of Fundraising St Ann's - ROLE NOW CLOSED

Job Ref: CCNW
Type: Permanent, Full-time
Location: Cheadle, Manchester
Salary: £31,279 - £41, 236

Full Description

St Ann’s Hospice wouldn’t exist without the incredible support of the generous community of Greater Manchester. Every single brick that’s been laid, every ward that’s been built and every patient that’s been cared for, is because people have donated time or money.

St Ann’s cares for around 3,000 patients and families from Greater Manchester every year who are affected by life limiting illnesses. Although this care is free, only a third of the funding comes from the NHS. The rest is down to the kindness of their donors and the dedication and skill of their fundraisers. That’s where you come in!

As Head of Fundraising at St Ann’s your job will be to implement and develop the Fundraising Strategy and to provide leadership to the Fundraising Department of 12 staff. You’ll be an experienced fundraising manager with an understanding of how to lead a team in developing strong philanthropic relationships and in achieving significant growth in fundraising income. Ideally you’ll have a background in major donor fundraising and you’ll certainly know how to create, develop and steward donors in line with St Ann’s culture and values.

In return, the Hospice offer a great salary and a role with the chance to make a real impact - there are many exciting developments lying just ahead in St Ann’s future! There’s also a fantastic package of benefits including:

  • Excellent holidays + an additional holiday purchase scheme
  • A contributory pension scheme (7% employer’s contribution)
  • Life Cover
  • Childcare Vouchers
  • Health Cash Plan
  • Employee Assistance programme
  • Free Parking
