About the Charity
Claire House Children’s Hospice provide specialist nursing care and emotional support to help families smile again when life couldn’t get any tougher. Their dream is to one-day reach every single child that needs them. To achieve this ambitious target, they have already laid the foundations of a major appeal to fund the significant increase and sustainable development of their core services.
When the Hospice first opened in 1998, they supported 10 families. 20 years’ on, they support over 300. In just the past 6 years, they have seen an 84% increase in the number of children they support. To help the Fundraising team reach their targets, support and awareness from the community is vital.

About the role of Individual Giving Co-ordinator
A 12-month maternity cover contract, this is a fantastic opportunity to work for one of the North West’s most loved and admired charities.
You will be a key contributor to the income generation team and specifically those focused on individual and regular giving to the charity. You will be responsible for delivering best possible customer service and fundraising support to donors, with particular responsibility for direct marketing communications, using an internal CRM system and supporting the Individual Giving Manager to ensure retention of donors.
Charity fundraising experience is desired but not essential as the charity has a fantastic track record of developing their staff. You will need professional experience of direct marketing and use of data for campaigns. Perhaps you are a recent marketing graduate or someone that has developed solid direct marketing experience keen on a transition to the charity sector?
Whilst this is a 12-month maternity cover contract in the first instance, there may be opportunities for extension for high performing candidates. Internal opportunities may also become available that the post holder will be eligible to apply for with this rapidly growing and ambitious charity.
