About the Charity
Henshaws is a much-loved charity that supports individuals living with sight loss and other disabilities across the North of England and increasingly, internationally. They help people gain independence and live life to the fullest, something we often take for granted.
The charity delivers practical, caring and imaginative services, including specialist housing and support, residential care, education, training, community outreach services and leisure activities. They work to raise awareness about visual impairment amongst the wider community and due to their fantastic efforts; last year their fundraising income increased by an incredible 50%!
If working closely with a highly-rewarding charity to put your fundraising or commercial experience to great use sounds appealing to you, then take a look at the role of Individual Giving Fundraising Manager.
Have you got charitable or commercial experience that you want to put to good use for a charity with a friendly, diverse and innovative culture?
As Individual Giving Fundraising Manager, you will lead a small team of staff and volunteers to help grow their individual giving programmes, towards an achievable income target for next year. You will play an important part in launching the new Arts & Craft Centre in Knaresborough.
This will require a creative approach in generating targeted digital fundraising campaigns that will inevitably build on existing supporter relationships and contribute to the overall fundraising income.
This is a great opportunity for someone to maximise potential, lead on regular giving and legacy relationships, and above all have a long-term impact on the strategic direction for Henshaws.
