Charity Careers North West are seeking voluntary sector professionals to work on an Interim basis for some fantastic charities throughout the North West.
Due to a significant increase in demand for our recruitment services, we’re increasingly being asked by our charity clients to source them Interim Managers to work on a short term basis, both part-time and full-time. A typical Interim placement is for 3-6 months and might be for positions such as:
*Director or Head of Communications
*Director or Head of Fundraising
*Policy or Campaigning Manager
*Major Donor Fundraiser
*Director or Head of Operations
*Database Administrator (particularly with Raiser’s Edge experience)
Working on an Interim basis can be very rewarding and is certainly varied. It calls for a demanding combination of factors: experience, availability, and the ability to quickly fit into an existing structure and culture. Interim managers usually need to be over-qualified for the roles they go into. The focus tends to be on creating stability and promoting good management, so their skills and understanding of the role they are performing need to be very strong.
