The Huntington’s Disease Association (‘HDA’) is the leading national charity supporting people affected by Huntington’s, their families and the professionals who work with them.

A national charity based in Liverpool, they are looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to lead on establishing a national framework of accreditation for nursing and care homes supporting people with Huntington’s Disease.

You will lead focus groups with key stakeholders, establish measurable standards of care, develop a price and review structure and implement the scheme as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Initially a one year contract (with the potential to become permanent), this position would suit an individual with strong project management skills. Knowledge of Huntington’s Disease is not required but an understanding of the residential care/disability sectors and CQC standards is a must.

This brand new role will give you the opportunity to shape the nation’s first kite mark for standards of care for this rare but challenging disease.
