About the charity

Established in 1998, as the UK’s first dedicated urban gospel music and arts centre, Liverpool Lighthouse works with disaffected groups and contributes to the regeneration of North Liverpool. The aim of the charity is to upskill disaffected groups within the community and contribute to regeneration. The charity benefits from close proximity to Liverpool FC and works with the club on a number of projects, including a recent partnership with LFC, Loyle Carner and Levi’s.
About the role of Trusts & Foundations Fundraiser
To continue the hugely impressive and important services, the charity is looking to add an experienced Trusts & Foundations Fundraiser to their small yet dedicated fundraising team.
You will play a vital role in sustaining Liverpool Lighthouse’s projects annually by using your excellent writing and research skills to successfully apply for funding, whilst simultaneously building long-lasting relationships with donors.
As Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser you will be well organised, a strong communicator and highly creative writer. Ideally you will have proven experience of writing successful funding applications and an innovative approach to fundraising, however we are also interested in candidates offering transferable skills in to the sector.
You will also use your fantastic people skills to build strong relationships with funders at all levels and be effective at managing your time and workload. Above all you will be motivated to enable Liverpool Lighthouse to continue to “engage, inspire and improve” the lives of people in North Liverpool.
