Full Description

If you are an experienced Trust Fundraiser with great writing and research skills and an ability to develop strong and lasting funding relationships – read on!
Huntington’s Disease Association (‘HDA’) helps people with HD – a highly challenging disease affecting the nervous system, for which there is still no known cure – to have better lives. As the nation’s lead authority in this area, their work is vital, and with a new re-brand, website and case for support in place to help them spread the word, they now need to grow their fundraising income to support their plans.
A national charity based in Liverpool’s Science Park, HDA has a strong track record in securing funds from trusts, foundations and lottery sources, currently holding grants from Children In Need, Big Lottery Fund and the Garfield Weston Foundation, to name just a few.
As Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser, you will have a proven track record in successful bid-writing in a not for profit context. Reporting directly to the Head of Fundraising, you will write powerful and effective applications and influence colleagues to capture key data and inspiring case studies.
You will use your fantastic people skills to build strong relationships with funders at all levels and be effective at managing your time and workload. Above all you will be motivated to enable HDA to help more families have live better lives, despite the impact of this genetic condition.
