The Manchester Foundation Trust Charity is one of the UK’s largest NHS Trust Charities, and its successful fundraising team has raised funds for some of Manchester’s most well-known medical projects – including the new Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital and its helipad to enable better access to emergency treatment.

Following this success, their team is growing, and they are now looking for an individual with great writing skills, experience at developing funds and a passion for a great cause to join their team as Trusts and Foundations Officer.

Working within a strong team of 4 and reporting to the Senior Development Manager, you will build on the existing pipeline to manage your own portfolio of trust and foundation funding bids and reports. You will use your research skills to identify new opportunities, and use your great writing skills and eye for detail to create inspiring and effective applications, with a particular focus on the exciting new Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital MRI Scanner Appeal, that will transform children’s brain surgery.

Although this opportunity is currently a 1 year, fixed term role, the charity has ambitions to make this permanent subject to targets being met.
